Come with your questions for Anne Zavell, M.Ed. A veteran educator of 29 years, Mrs. Zavell is a special education teacher and reading specialist. She spent 7 years at the elementary level and 22 years working at Niles North High School. Mrs. Zavell is also the parent of a child with a learning disability and food allergy. She is currently a doctoral candidate at National Louis University in Disability and Equity in Education.

Join PEC parents for guidance in navigating the school environment to best support your child’s learning and success. In this workshop,Lynn Denton, MSW, LCSW will discuss the supports, resources, and modifications that might be available to help your child and help you develop an understanding of special education and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Childcare services are provided for a small fee. This workshop is also available to be viewed as webinar.
